Baroncelli Polyptych by Giotto, 1365, in the Basilica di Santa Croce, the largest Franciscan church in the world, founded by St Francis of Assisi, begun 1294, consecrated 1443, and remodelled in the 16th century by Giorgio Vasari, after opening to tourists at 9.30am, October 2023, in Florence, Tuscany, Italy.
