Barque chapel, Karnak Temple, Thebes, Luxor, Egypt

Double roof to maintain cool temperature, with starry sky painting, in the repository chapel for the sacred barque of Amun, or Philip Arrhidaeus barque-shrine, in the Precinct of Amun-Re, at the Karnak Temple Complex, Karnak, Thebes, Luxor, Egypt. The site was developed c. 2055 BC - 100 AD, from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic Kingdom and most of the buildings date to the New Kingdom, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut and Khonsu.
