Bed in raised alcove with mirrors, gilded stucco, stucco drapery sculpture held by cupids and ceiling painted as starry sky, by Gregorio de Ferrari, in the Mezzarie of Anton Giulio II Brignole-Sale, an apartment begun 1705 on the mezzanine of the Palazzo Rosso, or Palazzo Brignole Sale, built 1675 in Mannerist style, on the Via Garibaldi, in the Le Strade Nuove in Genoa, Liguria, Italy. The Strade Nuove or New Streets area, housing many palaces, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The building houses the Strada Nuova Museums. Picture by Manuel Cohen
