Internal courtyard of the Ben Youssef Madrasa, Medina, Marrakech, Morocco. This courtyard is on the first floor and leads to the students dormitories. The Madrasa is an Islamic theological college founded in the 14th century and rebuilt by the Saadians in the 1560s. It is named after the Almoravid Sultan Ali ibn Yusuf, who reigned 1106-42.
