Biar, Alicante, Spain
Village of Biar, aerial view, in the Sierra Mariola mountains in Alt Vinalopo, Alicante, Spain. Overlooking the village is the Castillo de Biar, or Biar Castle, built in the 12th century by the Almohads, and added to later during christian rule. It sits on the border between Aragon and Castile.
