Borre burial ground, Vestfold, Norway
Mound K, a ship shaped stone mound, in the Borre burial ground, or Borrehaugene, Borre National Park, Horten, Vestfold, Norway. The site houses 7 large burial mounds and 21 cairns or cremation pits, mostly dating to the Iron Age and Viking Age. The site was excavated 1851-52 and 1989-91. Picture by Manuel Cohen
