Overdoors with high reliefs in plaster depicting 8 of the 9 muses by Roland, in the Boudoir de la Reine or Silver Bedroom, designed by the architect Pierre-Marie Rousseau, 1751-1829, used by Marie-Antoinette in the Queen's Apartments, Chateau de Fontainebleau, France. The Palace of Fontainebleau is one of the largest French royal palaces and was begun in the early 16th century for Francois I. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
