Painted patronymic earthenware salad bowl, c. 1800, from Nevers, with decoration of types of boats and barges on the river Loire, in the Musee de la Marine de Loire, a museum celebrating the history of navigation, trade and life on the river Loire, opened 1961 in the stable block of the Chateau de Chateauneuf-sur-Loire, adapted from 1995 by Philippe Prost, Loiret, Centre-Val de Loire, France.
