Commemorative plaques in the ground with inscribed names of the Jews deported from the house, in the Campo Ghetto Nuovo, the first Jewish settlement in Venice, in the Jewish Ghetto or Ghetto Vecchio in Venice, Veneto, Italy. The Venetian Ghetto was instituted in 1516 by Doge Leonardo Loredan and Jewish segregation here ended in 1797. The historical centre of Venice is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
