Carved stone capitals with crouching men awaiting judgement and dragons breathing flames, restored 15th and 19th centuries, on the porch of the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur, a Cluniac priory church built 12th - 14th century in Romanesque style, at the Notre-Dame Priory, in Paray-le-Monial, Saone-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The original monastery was built 973-77 and was joined to Cluny in 1090. The current building was begun in the 12th century and is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
