Aragonese gate, Castello a Mare or Castellammare, a fortress defending the entrance to the port at Palermo, Sicily, Italy. This gate was the main entrance to the fort and the remaining building dates to the 15th century, with 2 towers in Catalan-Aragonese style. Originally built in the 12th century, the fort was expanded in the 15th and 1th centuries.
