Cathedral, Toledo, Spain
Toledo Cathedral was built between 1226 and 1493. Its mainly 13th century architecture was inspired by the Gothic cathedrals of France but its proportions are Spanish, with a soaring spire and great buttresses. Toledo is a former capital of Spain, and cultural centre where Jews, Muslims and Christians co-existed
