Primatiale Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Lyon, or Cathedrale Saint-Jean, built 1175-1481 in Romanesque and Gothic styles, in the Saint-Jean district, aerial view, in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France. Above is the Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourviere, a basilica church built 1872-96 in Neo-Byzantine style, designed by Pierre Bossan, on the Fourviere hill, originally the site of the Roman forum of Trajan.
