Statue of St James the Confessor, in front of the Cattedrale metropolitana di Sant'Agata, originally built in the 11th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 18th centuries, in Catania, Sicily, Italy. The dome dates to 1802. Catania was founded by the Greeks in the 8th century BC and was rebuilt in the 12th century after an earthquake, then again after an earthquake in 1693.
