Facade, detail, of the Centre des Finances Publiques, or Public Treasury administrative offices, originally designed by Seguela and built 1907 as the offices of the Compagnie des Messageries Maritimes, a merchant shipping company founded 1851, based here until 1977, on the Place Sadi-Carnot in La Ciotat in the 2nd arrondissement of Marseilles, Bouches-du-Rhone, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. On the upper floors was the Hotel Regina, a luxury hotel with 200 rooms, which closed in 1940. Picture by Manuel Cohen
