Chapelle Saint-Accurse, Alyscamps necropolis, Arles, France
Chapelle Saint-Accurse, built 1520 on the death of Accurse de la Tour, then used as a funerary chapel, with the Romanesque arched porch of the Eglise Saint-Cesaire-le-Vieux, and sarcophagi, in the Alyscamps Roman necropolis in Arles, Bouches-du-Rhone, Provence, France. The burial site was positioned just outside the city walls and was used in Roman, early christian and medieval times. It is listed as a historic monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
