Chapelle Saint Gilduin et Saint Meen, with altarpiece and statues, 1873, by Jean-Marie Valentin, a lateral chapel in the North ambulatory of the Cathedral Saint-Samson, begun in the 13th century on the site of an older church and completed in the 18th century, in Dol-de-Bretagne, Brittany, France. St Gilduin was an archdeacon at Dol who refused the bishopric offered by Pope St Gregory VII and St Meen was a disciple of St Samson. The cathedral is dedicated to one of the founding saints of Brittany and until 1801 was the seat of the archbishopric of Dol. Picture by Manuel Cohen
