Chapelle Saint-Vincent, Collioure, Pyrenees-Orientales
Harbour and village of Collioure, on the Vermilion Coast in Pyrenees-Orientales, Catalogne du Nord, France. In the foreground is the Chapelle Saint-Vincent, built in 1701 to house the relics of St Vincent. Behind is the Eglise Notre-Dame-des-Anges, or Church of Our Lady of the Angels, 1684, with attached bell tower originally used as a lighthouse or beacon. In the distance is the Chateau Royal, containing remnants of castles built by the Templars, the Kings of Majorca, the Habsburgs and the Bourbons, 12th - 17th centuries.
