Chateau de Saint-Malo, or Chateau de la Duchesse Anne, in Saint-Malo, Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany, France. Jean V, duke of Brittany, built the keep (centre) in 1424 and the La Generale tower was built 1475 by Francois II, duke of Brittany. Other towers were added over the centuries and Sebastien Le Pressure de Vauban added barracks in the 17th century. The building now houses the city hall and maritime museum. Picture by Manuel Cohen
