Chateau de Saint-Point, built 12th - 14th century, aerial view, home of Alphonse de Lamartine, 1790-1869, French poet and author, at Saint-Point, Saone-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The chateau was bought in 1801 by the chevalier de Pratz, father of Alphonse de Lamartine, who lived here from 1820 and renovated it in Neo-Gothic style. It is listed a historic monument.
