Christ statue, Chiesa di Sant'Antonio Abate, Palermo
Clothed painted statue of Christ wearing robes and a crown of thorns, beside the entrance to the Chiesa di Sant'Antonio Abate, on the Via Roma, with a view over Palermo, Sicily, Italy. Railings and a building facade are reflected in the glass. The original church was built in 1220, its tower added in 1302-13, and was rebuilt in 1536, with a Baroque presbytery added in 1709.
