Cloister, where visitors exit the complex when visiting hours end at 5pm, at the Basilica di Santa Croce, the largest Franciscan church in the world, founded by St Francis of Assisi, begun 1294, consecrated 1443, and remodelled in the 16th century by Giorgio Vasari, October 2023, in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. In the centre is the Cappella dei Pazzi, or Pazzi Chapel, designed by Filippo Brunelleschi in Renaissance style 1442-78 for the Pazzi family.
