Beach and village of Collioure, aerial view, on the Vermilion Coast in Pyrenees-Orientales, Catalogne du Nord, France. On the hill is the Moulin de la Cortina windmill, 14th century, now an olive oil mill. On the waterfront are the Chateau Royal, containing remnants of castles built by the Templars, the Kings of Majorca, the Habsburgs and the Bourbons, 12th - 17th centuries, and the Eglise Notre-Dame-des-Anges, or Church of Our Lady of the Angels, 1684, with attached bell tower originally used as a lighthouse or beacon, both listed as historic monuments.
