Great Colonnade of Amenhotep III, Egyptian pharaoh, ruled 1391-53 BC, with 7 pairs of open flower papyrus columns, seen from the Court of Amenhotep III, and behind, the first Pylon, or Pylon of Ramesses II, at the Luxor Temple, built c. 1392 BC, under Amenhotep III, 18th dynasty, New Kingdom, and Tutankhamun, Horemheb and Ramesses II, at Thebes, Luxor, Egypt. Behind is the Mosque of Abu Haggag, converted from a christian church in 640 AD, originally part of the ancient Egyptian temple itself. Thebes is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
