Consigne Sanitaire and Eglise Saint-Laurent, Vieux Port
Consigne Sanitaire de Marseille, a warehouse building controlling health and sanitation for all boats and sailors, built 1719, designed by Antoine Mazin and extended 1804, 1827 and 1867, on the quayside at the Vieux Port or Old Port, the main harbour area, Marseilles, Bouches-du-Rhone, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. Behind is the Eglise Saint-Laurent, built 12th - 13th century in Provencal Romanesque style. Both buildings are listed as historic monuments. Picture by Manuel Cohen
