Cour de la Fontaine, Chateau de Fontainebleau
The Cour de la Fontaine with its Ulysses fountain, 16th century, and a Renaissance wing of the Chateau de Fontainebleau, France. In the reign of Francois I, this fountain provided drinking water for the king. The Palace of Fontainebleau is one of the largest French royal palaces and was begun in the early 16th century for Francois I. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
