Croix des enfants, or children's cross, also called the stonemason's cross, built 1567, with statuettes by Claude Bourgeade, on the Place de l'Eglise in the village square at Theize, or Theize-en-Beaujolais, in the Pierres Dorees region of the Beaujolais wine growing area, Rhone, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France. On the shaft area sculptures of stonemasons tools and niches with statuettes of the Virgin, St Anthony the hermit, St Roch and St Claude, added in 1996. Picture by Manuel Cohen
