Crucifix, polychrome wood with gold and tin leaf, 1150-1200, in the apse from the Romanesque Church of San Martin at Fuentiduena, Segovia, Spain, c. 1175-1200, in The Cloisters, a museum specialising in European medieval architecture, sculpture and decorative arts, part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, at Fort Tryon Park, Manhattan, New York, USA. Behind is a fresco of the Virgin and child in majesty, with the adoration of the magi and an archangel, c. 1100, attributed to the Master of Pedret.
