Cruise Room Bar of the historic Oxford Hotel, the first bar in America to open after the end of prohibition, Denver, Colorado, USA. The bar opened in 1891 and operated as an illicit speakeasy during prohibition, with secret panels and underground tunnels behind the art deco walls, reopening the day after the end of prohibition. The hotel itself was designed by Frank Edbrooke and built in 1891, and is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places and the Colorado State Register of Historic Properties.
