Dead Sea, Jordan
Dead Sea, viewed from Jordan towards the mountains of the Israeli border of the Dead Sea. The picture was taken just before sunrise. The Dead Sea is a salt lake in the Jordan Rift Valley 423m below sea level. It is also the deepest salt lake in the world. Tourists flock here for the health benefits of its salts, minerals and mud.
