Dining Room, designed by Henri Favarger and built 1902, at the Old Cataract Hotel, a colonial era hotel built 1899 by Thomas Cook, overlooking the river Nile in Aswan, Egypt. The hotel housed European travellers visiting Aswan throughout the 20th century. It was restored 2008-11 and reopened in 2011. Picture by Manuel Cohen
