Father Giancarlo Corsini of the Franciscan Friars Minor talking to visitors about Donatello's Crucifix and its pathos, after 3pm prayers, in the Capella Bardi di Vernio, in the north transept of the Basilica di Santa Croce, the largest Franciscan church in the world, founded by St Francis of Assisi, begun 1294, consecrated 1443, and remodelled in the 16th century by Giorgio Vasari, October 2023, in Florence, Tuscany, Italy.
