Ecluses du Temple or Temple Lock and behind, the Passerelle des Douanes or Customs Bridge, cast iron pedestrian footbridge in the Marais basin, between the Quai de Valmy and the Quai de Jemmapes, over the Canal Saint-Martin in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, France. The Canal Saint-Martin is a 4.6km long waterway between the Canal de l'Ourcq and river Seine, built 1802-25 to provide a fresh water source to the city and provide a trade route for canal barges.
