Effigy of Bertrand Du Gesclin, 1320-80, Constable of France 1370-80, commissioned by Charles V, made in 1397 in marble, in the Basilique Saint-Denis, Paris, France. In front are the feet of Charles V, 1338-80, king of France 1364-80, commissioned by Charles V himself and made by Andre Beauneveu in 1364.
