Nave and choir with main altarpiece, the oldest part of the church, in the Eglise Saint-Jacques, a Gothic church built 1260-80 in the Saint-Jacques district of Perpignan, Pyrenees-Orientales, Catalogne du Nord, France. On the ceiling of the nave are frescoes by Jacques Gamelin, 1738-1803. The church is on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela and is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
