Eilean Donan Castle, Highlands, Scotland
Eilean Donan Castle, on a small tidal island on Loch Long, at the meeting of Loch Duich and Loch Alsh, in the Highlands of Scotland. The castle was built in the 13th century but destroyed in 1719 after the Jacobite rebellions and was rebuilt in the 20th century by John Macrae-Gilstrap. Picture by Manuel Cohen
