Elling Woman, a mummified woman who died c. 360-210 BC, discovered in Bjældskovdal peat bog in 1938, 60m from Tollund Man, in Silkeborg Museum, a Danish history museum housed in Silkeborg Manor, in Silkeborg, Midtjylland, Jutland, Denmark. The woman died from hanging and a leather cord was found next to the body. The legs were destroyed in excavation but she has an elaborate hairstyle and wears a woollen belt, sheepskin cape and calfskin cape. Picture by Manuel Cohen
