Entrance hall, decorated 19th century under marquis de Talhouet Roy in Renaissance style, with coffered ceiling, corinthian sculpted columns and mosaic tiled floor, in the Chateau du Lude, in Lude, Sarthe, Pays de la Loire, France. At the foot of the stairs is a bronze statue of the Angel of Lude, 1475, by Jean Barbet, originally designed as a weather vane for Sainte-Chapelle in Paris.
