Medieval hilltop village of Evenos, with houses and walls made from volcanic basalt rock, in Var, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. The village has a feudal castle built 11th century, perched along the Falaises du Cimay, cliffs popular with rock climbers.
