Eye, in copper gilt and enamel, detail from the metal tomb of the child Jean, d. 1268, son of Saint-Louis and Marguerite of Provence, originally from the Abbaye de Royaumont and moved to Saint-Denis in 1820, made by Limousin metalworkers, c. 1250, in the Basilique Saint-Denis, Paris, France.
