Ferro windmill, Pla de San Jordi, Majorca
Sails and tail of ferro windmill, Pla de San Jordi, Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. This type of windmill was introduced in 1934 and is an adaptation of an American ramell style windpump with an added tail. It is used for water pumping and this example is located near Palma airport.
