Fireplace with coat of arms and motto of the Bourre family destroyed during the French Revolution, and graffiti from wounded soldiers treated here during the First World War, in the Library, originally a covered passage leading to the chapel, in the Chateau du Plessis-Bourre, built 1468-73 in Renaissance style for Jean Bourre, Ecuille, Maine-et-Loire, Pays de la Loire, France.
