Fortress, Hvar, Croatia
Spanish fortress or Fortica, built 1579, above the town of Hvar on south coast of the island of Hvar, off the Dalmatian coast of Croatia, in the Adriatic Sea. On the right is the Renaissance style bell tower, 16th century, of St Stephens Cathedral, built 16th - 18th centuries.
