Frederiksdal man, National Museum of Denmark, Copenhagen
Body of Frederiksdal man, who lived 1045-1155, found in 1898 in a bog in Frederiksdal-Kragelund, Jutland, in the National Museum of Denmark, or Nationalmuseet, Copenhagen, Denmark. The man was 1.7m tall with eyes, ears, teeth, beard and hair intact. He was dressed in a tunic and short lace-up boots. Picture by Manuel Cohen
