Entry into Jerusalem, with Jesus travelling on a donkey through crowds and people climbing the trees to see, fresco, 1376-78, by Giusto de Menabuoi, 1320-91, in the Padua Baptistery, in Padua, Veneto, Italy. The 12th century building was reworked 1370-79 as a mausoleum for prince Francesco il Vecchio da Carrara and his wife Fina Buzzaccarini, who commissioned the frescoes. Picture by Manuel Cohen
