Dormition of the Virgin, with Christ swaddling her soul, angels, hieromartyrs and apostles, fresco, 12th century, on the west wall of the nave of the Panagia Asinou Church, or Panagia Forviotissa, a Byzantine church, originally the church of Forvion monastery, built from 1005, founded 1099, dedicated to the Virgin of Forvia, near Nikitari, in the Troodos mountains, Cyprus.
