Crucifixion with Virgin and Mary Magdalene, and John the Theologian, fresco, late 13th century, on the west wall of the nave of the Church of Panagia tou Moutoulla, a Byzantine church built 1280, in the village of Moutoullas, in the Troodos mountains of Cyprus. The church was founded by Ioannis Gerakiotis and his wife Irene and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
