Virgin and child in majesty, c. 1100, detail, attributed to the Master of Pedret, in the apse from the Romanesque Church of San Martin at Fuentiduena, Segovia, Spain, c. 1175-1200, in The Cloisters, a museum specialising in European medieval architecture, sculpture and decorative arts, part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, at Fort Tryon Park, Manhattan, New York, USA. The frescoes were originally from the Church of the Virgin near Tredos in the Pyrenees.
