Transit of the body of the Virgin Mary, fresco, attributed to the Maestro del coro Scrovegni, in a small chapel off the Cappella degli Scrovegni, or Scrovegni Chapel, at the Monastero degli Eremitani, in Padua, Veneto, Italy. The chapel was built by Enrico Scrovegni as a private oratory and funerary monument, consecrated 1303. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
