Last Judgement, 1306, with Christ in Majesty, 12 apostles, heaven and hell, on the end wall of the Cappella degli Scrovegni, or Scrovegni Chapel, containing a fresco cycle, 1303-9, by Giotto di Bondone, c. 1267-1337, at the Monastero degli Eremitani, in Padua, Veneto, Italy. The chapel was built by Enrico Scrovegni as a private oratory and funerary monument, consecrated 1303. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
